About

Christian Standing in the Public Square exists to help believers preach the whole Gospel, walk in the fullness of the Holy Spirit, heed the prophetic word, and carry the Kingdom of God boldly into every sphere of society. We believe the church was never called to retreat into a private corner of life. Jesus is Lord of all — and that lordship reaches the home, the church house, the workplace, the classroom, the newsroom, the arts, and the seats of government.

This work grew out of a simple, burning conviction: that the same Gospel that saves a soul is meant to be lived out loud in a watching world, and that ordinary Spirit-filled Christians can engage the great questions of our day without fear and without compromise.

What we believe

We hold to the historic, full-Gospel Christian faith.

We believe the Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God. We believe in the deity, atoning death, bodily resurrection, and soon return of the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe salvation comes by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone — that a person must be born again. We believe in the baptism and infilling of the Holy Spirit, and that the gifts of the Spirit — including prophecy, healing, and the discerning of spirits — are for the church today, not locked in the past. We believe God still speaks, that the prophetic word is for our generation, and that we are called to “test everything” and “hold fast to what is good.” And we believe the people of God are sent as salt and light into every sphere of society, to disciple nations and to seek the good of the city until Christ returns.

Prophetic Corner. Current events read through the lens of Scripture. We believe God is not silent and history is not random. The aim is Spirit-led discernment and sober hope — understanding the times like the sons of Issachar, who “knew what Israel should do” — never fear-mongering or date-setting.
